Volunteers

At the Heritage Library you will find a congenial cadre of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. Can you consider volunteering your time and talent for a one day a week? You can choose 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday.

You will find many satisfying opportunities here. For many volunteers, taking on a project has opened new vistas. Among the opportunities for volunteers: study our operations and become a librarian in charge for a day; select and compile a historical project (and possibly write about it for our publication, Glimpses); research and write grant applications; prepare and scan images for the Internet; or do administrative tasks such as developing relationships with other organizations, tracking the progress of projects, and planning future projects.

If your interest is genealogy, other volunteers will train you.
