Our library encourages our Members and Patrons to publish the products of their historical and family research so as to preserve and disseminate the information created or accumulated.
The Library is a place for an author to come to for advice about both publishing and printing. Anyone contemplating a publishing effort should arrange a conference with the Library’s management early on to get advice about how to proceed. This should be done as a part of the process of selecting the word processing program, formatting the document, selecting and enhancing the illustrations, and deciding on the method of printing and binding.
After publication the library wishes to have a copy of the work as an important part of its holdings. It will then be noted in our catalog or in other data bases so that it can be found by other researchers thru our web site or internal web pages.
